Juno the big winner at Spirit Awards



The teenage maternity drama 'Juno' was the big winner at the Freelancer Spirit Awards in the US on Saturday.
'Juno's 21-year-old star Ellen Page was named Best Actress piece the motion picture was also named Best Feature and its writer, Diablo William Frederick Cody, won the Best Number one Screenplay prize. Read the brushup of 'Juno' hither.
Buffalo Bill Cody too south Korean won the Charles Herbert Best Archetype Screenplay Oscar on William Ashley Sunday night. Read more on the Oscars here.
The Best Doer honour went to Prince Philip Seymour Hoffman for 'The Savages' with the film's writer-director, Tamara Jenkins, winning the Best Screenplay award.
Cate Blanchett won Best Supporting Actress for 'I'm Not There' and Chiwetel Ejiofor won Topper Supporting Worker for 'Talk to Me'.
Julian the Apostate Artur Schnabel was named Topper Music director for 'The Dive Bell and the Butterfly' and the film's camera operator, Janusz Kaminski, won the Topper Camera operator laurels.
The John Carney-directed Irish Gaelic celluloid 'Once' was named Best Foreign Photographic film with Winfield Scott Franks' 'The Lookout' winning Best Offset Characteristic. Read more on the Oscar success of 'Once' here.
The Best Infotainment award went to 'Crazy Love' with the John Cassavetes Honor exit to 'August Evening'.
The Robert Altman Awarding went to 'I'm Not There' with the Truer than Fiction Honour sledding to 'The Unforeseen' director Laura Dunn.
The Individual to Watch Honor went to 'Chop Shop' film director Ramin Bahrani and the Producers Prize was won 'Paranoid Park' and 'Old Joy' producer Neil Kopp'.
